It can be called PR. It is invented by Google. Google uses it to rank sites. The score is from 0 to 10, 10 is the highest score. Having a higher pagerank can help you site has a better ranking in search result. That’s why many sites’ owners always try to improve their PR. The formula of calculating PR is a secret, but it can be estimated by how many quality backlinks the site have and the authority of the backlinks. Sitemap
A sitemap providing all your sites URL to the spiders from search engines. It helps spiders crawl your site correctly. When you generate a sitemap.xml, you have to upload it and submit the path to the search engines. For example, submitting your sitemap to Google through your Google Webmaster Tools. Authority
This is related to Google Pagerank. However, it is an invisible figure. A backlink from authority site has much high value. It helps to boost your google pagerank so much. Besides, it also helps you have a higher ranking in search result, link with the authority site may make search engine think your site is a quality site.
Sandbox
In the SEO world, there is a doubt that is sandbox exists or not. The search engine will put the new site or the site “over SEO” into the sandbox. They have to confirm the site perform as a BLACK HAT SEO or not. If the sites keep constant traffic or increase the traffic steady, the search engine will pull the sites out from the sandbox. Therefore, don’t worry if your site does not have a better result at the begin. For a old site, if you think your site was being put into the sandbox, you have to think ” ARE YOU OVER SEO?” If the answer is yes, just try to undo the things that you currently did.
Insite SEO
It is meaning that the things you can done with your site. For instance, your site’s title, articles titles, meta tags, keywords, text/html ratio, descriptions etc. All insite materials are under site owners control. You should try your best to optimize those insite information which is related to your site content.
Offsite SEO
Some of the Outsite SEO are out of control but some of them are still under control. Outsite SEO is representing the outside factor. For instance, backlinks, pagerank, listed in the directories, indexed by the search engine. Getting quality backlinks from authority sites is a little bit hard, it mainly depends on your site contents. The thing you can do with outsite SEO is submitting your site to search engine and the directories. Exchanging link with other sites seems is another thing you can do.
