Current Situation of Kyrosp.com

Before entering the main part of this post, I have to admit I made mistakes at the beginning of blogging.

1. Never thought about SEO.

2. Too much ads at the beginning.

3. Submitting site to search engine too early.

4. NO consideration on selecting Hosting Company.

Due to the first 3 mistakes, Kyrosp.com is still experiencing low traffic. The recent traffic is mainly come from Easyhits4u, Trafficpod, Entrecard and Linkrefferal, only a few audience are come from search engine. Although there is over 100 Ip visit per day, I think there is only 20% are quality audience, the remain 80% just click and run. I can see that with my site trackers, the bounce rate has reflect this situation.

For the forth mistake that I make, I had never thought about the speed before I chose the Hosting. Low speed can definitely affect your audience return rate. Besides I am this blog’s owner, I am an audience while surfing. I found that I hate to revisit those blogs which are loading slow.
After admitting my mistakes, I must do something to remedy the current situation.
The first thing I have done is dropping out the ads space.
Both Adbrite and Bidvertiser have been dropped. Only Infolink has been kept. Although I don’t want this blog become money oriented, I still want to raise some fund to maintain this blog.

The second thing I have done is giving up Adgitize, Trafficpod, Easyhits4u. Those traffics are only increasing my bounce rate only, I can sure that only 5-10 % audience from these kinds of traffic are quality traffic. Most of them just click and run.
Linkreferral can really bring me some quality audience.
The reason for keeping Entrecard is the credits. I am considering hold a contest to give out Entrecard credits, in order to having more interaction with my audience.

To get more quality traffic, I am doing research on SEO, SEM. Traffic from search engine should be better than traffic exchange networks.
SEO is important, but the other point I have to avoid is not to be too much SEO. The most important thing is writing quality content to my audience.

There is still 11months contract left with my hosting. After the contract is finished. I will select another hosting company. If you have some good hosting company but not too expensive, please tell me. Many thanks for this.

Experiencing the mistakes I have made, I think I should write something about how to start blogging.
When my SEO studying is finished, I will try to write a E-Book.

I will try my best to get success on SEO in the followings months.
